Botellon
Botellon provides a refreshing addition to San Francisco’s bar and restaurant scene. Located in the city’s spirited Castro district, Botellon takes its design cues from the Spanish cultural phenomenon know as “el botellon” - an informal street gathering where young people and those young at heart meet to drink and socialize. Botellon is a combination of these attributes, conceived as a destination for food lovers and fun seekers. The vibrant atmosphere starts at the street with a modern metal canopy, bathed in a shimmer of blue lighting welcoming guests to sit and observe the colorful life of the city or to be warmly greeted through the tall wood and glass entry doors to the sexy eye-catching interior glimpsed through the expansive floor to ceiling glass windows. At its heart, Botellon is about diversity, from the variety of seating - large community tables, cozy banquettes, copious lounge chair seating surrounding the 40’ long bar, to the layer of materials - wood, tile, laser-cut screen wall, custom designed bold graphics and murals, and the variety of lighting. Botellon buzzes with the lights, sounds, and textures of a modern San Francisco.
